This is easily becoming one of my favorite days of the year – Galentines Day! You know that we here at Alyssa Gay Consulting love to support local and even more than that, we love to support local, woman-owned businesses! #GirlPower So, today we’re sharing some of our favorite local lady friends and encourage you to support these #GirlBosses, too!

Wowza, we cannot get over how amazing PAINT is! Michele saw a need in the market to provide a luxury, non-toxic nail experience and boy has she delivered! They focus on providing an exceptional experience while also using the highest quality products and odorless nail polish that is actually good for your nails.
Fun Fact: PAINT started and their flagship location is right here in sunny downtown Sarasota, but they’ve expanded to over 15 locations nationwide!
The Rusty Crickett
Rusty Crickett is a woman and veteran owned boutique. They feature one of a kind gifts, vintage-style decor, and clothing. They also offer free gift wrapping.
Back Story: Colleen had always wanted to start her own boutique. After spending a few years away from Bradenton and working in a variety of shops, she and her husband moved back and she was able to start living her dream!
Jackie is a personal styling subscription box service that connects women with quality brands that are handpicked by stylists. They also have a sustainable brands option, JackieV. They are headquartered right here in burgeoning #DTBT (that’s downtown Bradenton, in case you didn’t know).
High Vibe Studio
High Vibe Studio incorporates both physical and mental health. They promote living your best life through a variety of fitness classes and events. Crystal, the owner, is always adding to their list of classes and hosts unique experience classes too, like rooftop yoga!

Kelly also is passionate about rescue pups and regularly volunteers with Nate’s Honor Animal Rescue – who knows, maybe puppy yoga will be on deck soon?!
Women-Owned Home Goods, Decor, & More Businesses
Shannon Kirsten Studio
Shannon Kirsten designs vintage inspired, colorful creations to brighten your day. She creates custom surface design, illustrations, wedding invitations and more. I love seeing her latest creations (like this adorable lobster print!) and incorporating her artwork into our office and home.
Hurry! She’s hosting a special studio sale through February 14!
The Bungalow was built in 1911 and is a charming home decor store filled with one of a kind pieces. Stacie & Shawna are best friends (and also have the cutest shop pup!) who are passionate about home decor. We love stopping in to see their seasonal changing wall and their latest unique finds!
Kinspoke is a gorgeous and unique florist. Started by Olivia, they offer florals and unique are installations for events as well as pop-up bloom bars.
P.S. Olivia is one of the masterminds behind Friendly City Flea! They’re also offering a fun Valentine’s collaboration, too!
Undine Shorey Music
Undine is a local musician who is amazingly talented! She is a multi-instrumentalist and has worked tirelessly in developing her own unique sound. Shorey blends a mixture of jazz, R&B, and soul through her electric violin, guitar and vocals. She plays regularly at local venues and can play for you, too!
If you haven’t already, pick up a copy of her EP!
Women-Owned Food & Coffee Businesses
Tellers (Alyssa’s FAVORITE local coffee spot) is a grab-and-go coffee shop located in downtown Bradenton. They also have food (vegan options), tea, beer, and wine available.
The Daily Dose Juice Garden
This juice bar serves up organic cold-pressed juices, smoothies, and food. Daily Dose was started by Bri, who at just 17, saw that there was a need for healthy options downtown and became the answer! It’s great for on the go or if you want to stay and hang out for a while. Our personal favorites are the smoothies!
American Honey Creamery
This mobile creamery serves up delicious artisan ice cream, milkshakes, sundaes, coffees, and craft beverages. It is owned by two sisters who make all their ice cream using milk from local dairy farms!
Wow! Who knew there were so many wonderful woman-owned businesses in Bradenton-Sarasota?! We love that all these amazing women are stepping out, being fearless girl bosses, and showing the boys how it’s done 💪🏼 Keep it up, ladies!
